Say cheese!

Today, we'd like to share with you one of our all-time favorites and super easy recipe, which you'll love to serve at your next aperitivo, or just to complement a quick salad and a glass of wine, on a lazy night in with your partner!


Ingredients (serves 2 as a side dish or 4 for aperitivo)

  • 150-200g feta cheese

  • 6-7 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • the juice of half a lemon

  • 15 to 20 olives, mixed (we like to use Greek olives such as Kalamata's and Amfissa's)

  • a few fresh rosemary sprigs

  • black pepper to taste, coarsely ground

  • fresh bread

Method

  • Preheat the oven at 190C

  • Place the feta cheese in a small to medium oven dish

  • Add the olives around the cheese

  • Sprinkle everything with the rosemary sprigs

  • Pour the olive oil and the lemon juice all over the dish and grind some black pepper to taste

  • Place in the oven for 30 min and serve hot, with fresh bread
