Le Pays de la Loire, located in the west of France, holds some of the world's most splendid castles. Home (at least temporarily) of historical figures such as King François 1er, Catherine de Médici, or even Leonardo da Vinci, the region has seen over the centuries tons and tons of unexpected twists and turns; but mostly loads of fun parties!
