Sustainable Activewear
Who hasn’t invested more in activewear since the pandemic began?
Whether to wear around the house, or to workout in, activewear has never been so high up on our shopping list. Apart from loving how comfortable these items are, we want to feel good about where we buy our clothing. Sustainability isn’t just for everyday clothing, but activewear too! Here is our roundup of our favorite brands, who are making beautiful items, but keeping it local and/or mindful.
Girlfriend Collective make their items from recycled plastic bottles, and recycled fishing nets. They also use cupro, which is a fiber that the cotton industry considers waste. All their packaging is recycled and recyclable.
On top of their great environmental credentials, they cater to all body types, and also have a maternity range.
Our current favorites are the Mia High Neck Bra, their gorgeous bodysuits (because who doesn’t love to feel like a dancer?!) and their trail shorts.

Laura founded Atma Yoga, as a way to bring together her love of design and yoga. All her clothes are made in Italy, using locally produced textiles and dyes. The fabrics are all made from recycled plastic and other waste.
We particularly love the Shakti pantalone, and the Hansa top.

Indigo Luna is an Australian brand, who make all their clothes in a small female run factory in Bali. This ecoconcious brand exclusively uses natural dyes, that are derived from local plants, thus minimising their environmental impact. Their swimwear is made from recycled fishing nets, and they use other natural materials for their other garments.
Best suited to practicing yoga, all the clothes comes in beautiful earthy tones. Our favorites are the Layla flares, and Boxy bra.
