Homemade Iced Tea
With the heat of the summer days coming up, it's even more important to stay hydrated...
… and while doing so, why not make it an enjoyable experience? Homemade iced tea recipes could be limitless, but we thought we'd share with you today this super easy and refreshing green-tea-based one!
Ingredients (serves 4-6 glasses)
1.2L water
2 tbsp of flower-infused green tea, with jasmine for example or with a floral blend (we personally use here the "Bali" green tea from Dammann Frères)
3 tbsp of organic mint syrup
Method
Add the water to a pot and bring to a boil
Infuse the tea with the help of a sift for ten minutes, then remove from the heat and set aside for 30 minutes
Once cooled, add the mint syrup to the tea, and stir
Taste the mix. If you find your mix a little too strong or sweet, add some cool water and stir again
Use a funnel and a sift to pour the tea in a jug (or glass bottle) suitable for the fridge
Place in the fridge for around six hours and serve with ice to make it extra fresh!
